Six inches of rain in Grant County led to flooding in many areas on Friday.

The Grant County Emergency Management Office reported that 14 county roads had been closed due to flooding. Also, students in the Boscobel School District were kept 45 minutes after classes were dismissed, Friday, due to a tornado watch.

Vernon County was also included in a tornado warning Friday evening until 8 p.m. However, high school sporting events in many areas north of Grant County were still expected to continue.
