Senator Kapanke announces re-election bid in Viroqua

State Sen. Dan Kapanke made a stop at Nelson Agri-Center in Viroqua, Wednesday afternoon, to announce he was seeking a second four-year term.

Kapanke (R-La Crosse), also well known as owner of the La Crosse Loggers semi-pro baseball team, made the announcement also in La Crosse and Prairie du Chien.

Kapanke’s re-election campaign let local media outlets know two weeks ago the announcement was coming.

More on Kapanke’s hopes for a second term will be included in a story in next week’s Broadcaster.
